Guangzhou SCUT Bestry Technology Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Bestry) is a leading company in the polymer industry in China. Our company was co-founded by Professor Hai Zhang and Professor Tiejun Ma, the winners of Guangzhou Golden Tripod Award for outstanding contributions to science and technology, and South China University of Technology Science and Technology Park Co., Ltd on December 18, 2000.
Bestry specializes in the development and manufacture of novel polymer materials and processing equipment. Our company offers diverse expertise in R&D, manufacturing, sales, technology transfer and technical services.
BESTRYWPC of wood-plastic-composite flooring board, as a local brand of green building materials, makes positive contributions to the promotion of recyclable resources in alignment with China's Sustainable Development Strategy. BESTRY wood has been widely applied in major projects across the country including 2008 Beijing Olympics, 2009 Shanghai World Expo., 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games and 2011 Xi'an International Horticultural Exposition.
The Plastic Business Department, a section of Guangzhou SCUT Bestry Technology Co., Ltd, professionally engages in research and exploitation of special types of engineering plastic product, modified plastic material, and new type of advanced plastic processing equipments for research and production. It has strong technological support from the national key disciplines like macromolecular material, machinery design, industrial automatic control in the national key university of South China University of Technology (SCUT for short). It has also built a cooperative relationship with the National Engineering Center of Polymer Contour Machining affiliating with SCUT, working together on the key scientific and technological project to take advantages of the advanced equipments and excellent talent resources. With years of development, it has accumulated strong strength in research and rich experience in manufacturing as well as outstanding achievements of originality with patents of invention, practicalness and new-type, and with the recognition of UL,SGS. Moreover, 5 types of its products achieve proprietary intellectual property rights.
The department succeeds in developing the compound plastic material which applies the plant fibers of agricultural waste like ramie stems, cotton stems for stuffing and strengthening. And this kind of material features of high-intensity, high- rigidity, high-hardness, high-wearing, anticorrosion, damp- proof, good stability in size, low cost and environment-friendly, and can be applied as the substitute for the materials like wood, metal , plastic and be used in extrudate and injection materials.
The department will always stick to the development strategy of originality innovation to cultivate and strengthen the research team in special plastic; and commits itself to overcoming the technical difficulties in plastic industry. And it will also endeavor to fulfill the increasingly extensive and harsh requirements of high-performance progress with regard to the polymer materials and to serve the customers with great sincerity.
